Introduced from Asia and now established across much of North America, especially farm country. A favorite release bird for hunting clubs and a straightforward species for game-farm pens.

Incubation: 24–25 days at 99.5°F forced air or 101.5°F still air, humidity 60–65%. Stop turning on day 22 and raise humidity to 80–85%.
